The story of Judas and Mary portrayed as a sequence of paintings. In the weeks leading up to the Passover, Mary (possibly Magdalene) anoints the feet of Christ with a rare and expensive oil. This is questioned by Judas Iscariot who rebukes her and tells her the jar of oil could have been sold and the money given to the poor. Mary does not agree, saying in effect the poor will have to wait because her love (Christ) is going away. Christ approves of Mary's actions and tells her that even though He is going away, his body will remain. The graphics for this video were produced by Evanna Donachie ©2021.
